5 day stay. great huge room with a view and kitchenette. very nice staff (hi clark-miss our chats!) concierge with good ideas, standing by, with ray or robbie to take you there from sunny cal transportation.
mission bay and mission beach are a short stroll. lawn bowls, tennis, pool and beach front lawn chairs waiting for you. of course i'd stay here again.

Room Tip: we enjoyed fourth floor bayview building.

When given the task to come up with an awesome idea for a company party my co-workers and I (after tons of research) decided that the best option was The Bahia (Cruise). And we couldn't have picked a better venue. The staff was great, the view, food etc was amazing. Working with Kelly and Kadi was a great exprience. They answered all my questions and were there the day of the party to make sure everything was going just as planned. I recommend this venue for all kinds of parties. I will definately use them again for any upcoming events.

LOVED the Bahia. Clean, modern, safe, roomy. Everything I could have asked for in a hotel. Definitely will be coming back with my family/friends. Perfect location near beach and on the bay! The restaurant was delicious and the conference food provided by the hotel was good.
My room was a bay front suite. It had a microwave, little fridge, veranda (event he ducks came by in the morning to say "hello"), two queen beds in a separate bedroom, coffee maker, two tv's... I will be back!

Ideal location paired with excellent service creates a very relaxing and productive home away from home! I recently stayed here for a business trip and enjoyed it thoroughly. Special thanks to Rob Hoadley and Tom Farley for the tour of the grounds.

A lot of hard work and dedication has kept the grounds and rooms looking great over the course of time!

Thank you Beth Hunt for coordinating an event that has become a favorite memory for our class of 1953. It's not easy to please most of us who've been around that long, but you and your staff most certainly hit a GRAND SLAM home run! The venue, with it's great bay view was beautiful, and when coupled with the banquet room setting of beautifully set tables, a wait staff without peer, and a dinner that exceeded expectations, well, that's how memories are made! THANK YOU.

Caveat: I stayed at this hotel for three nights on a business trip, not as a vacationing family.

You couldn't pick a nicer spot: easily accessible by car, occupying its own spit of land between Venture and Santa Barbara Coves, just twenty minutes north of SAN airport. You DO get a lot of air traffic overhead, but the waters are calm and most rooms have a view of the bay,. Rooms could be in one of the towers, or in one of the one- or two-story buildings. I recommend the one-story buildings: you get your own patio, and you can park in front of the door.

I only visited the gym, the pool, the cafe, and the bar; not any of the other amenities.
The cafe and bar are OK, pretty basic, not that large. The buffet breakfast is fairly standard. You have to order off the menu to get anything cooked to order. The pool is quite nice and sheltered from the wind. The fitness center is above average for the US (which is not saying much), with some free weights and a multi-station Life Fitness machine in addition to the usual treadmills and ellipticals. You can run around the bay to your heart's content. Internet is free but a bit slow.

Cons: the posses of teenagers roaming around can be a bit loud at night. Airplane noise. Rooms and buildings could use a refresh. Noisy in-wall air conditioner. No business amenities, like a desk or convenient outlets.

Pros: Location, view, resort amenities.

Room Tip: The single-story buildings are most accessible and rooms have their own patio.

Close to 100 women came to the Bahia for our church's Women's Retreat (we've been several times before) last October and I can say that both the staff and the facility are really great! Allison kept communication easy and when we arrived, Julie Deeb was right there to help us and make sure we had what we needed for every meeting, etc. The facility is amazing....close to water...beach and bay..... it's so pretty there! For every meeting, we had what we needed and for "free time", there's always plenty to either "do" or "not do" (just relax!). I would highly recommend any group having their retreat here!

Room Tip: Any room with a view is going to be worth it!
