Staycation Getaway | Great Stay

We love Embassy Suites!

My wife knows if she ever wants to do a weekend getaway, all she has to do is say "Hey honey, do you want to do to an Embassy Suites?"

We have stayed at a verity of Embassy Suites over the years.
Some good and some not so good...

The Downtown San Diego Embassy Suites did not disappoint.
And by far was one of my favorite.

We are HHonor members and we greeted with a smile at the front desk and received our complementary waters.
The Hilton App is wonderful - I was able to check on and pick my room on the app.

Our room was ready early, we were able to drop our bags off and then walk around down town. Seaport Village is right across the street.

We then let the kids swim in the pool and burn off some energy and then at 5:00pm we headed over to the managers reception for free drinks and appetizers before we headed over to dinner at Seaport Village.

After a wonderful evening on the water front, we headed back to our room and called it a night. The two room suite is wonderful for parents with kids, they have their space and mom and dad have theirs =)
The rooms are nicely appointed, clean and spacious.

Then in the morning we head down for breakfast.
Made to order omelettes and anything else you could think of for breakfast!

We absolutely loved our stay here and will be back!

Room tip: West facing rooms will have an amazing view of the bay

Family Graduation Celebration

We had 3 different rooms for everyone and had a fantastic time. Breakfast was fantastic every morning! The afternoon reception was good and food was a good warm up before dinner. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was wonderful. Parking was expensive, but very limited in the entire area.

Good hotel in great location

The hotel is a typical Embassy Suites with an interior atrium. I had a water-view room with a balcony, which was great, except for the Friday night when a rowdy party moved next door -- and next balcony -- to celebrate some birthday. I was told afterwards that the hotel is known for such celebrations. Also, I had hoped to check in around 3 pm, and asked the front desk to make this happen, but they could not, and I missed an attraction that I was hoping to see.

San Diego Visit

Stayed for 2 nights and had a bay view room on the 7th floor. Hotel is within walking distance to Seaport Village, Midway aircraft carrier, Gas Lamp district, restaurants. Has a very good happy hour, rooms are very clean, service is great. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful hotel albeit expensive parking

Excellent hotel with great amenities while being extremely close to several dining options and activities. Only draw back would be the ridiculous $55/a day valet charge with no other parking options aside from finding a spot on the street.
