Perfect location with excellent Bay View. Walking distance to several restaurants, bars, and shopping. Hotel was very clean and staff always willing to help. Breakfast buffet was one of the most efficiently run of any Embassy Suites we’ve stayed in!

Not up to Hilton’s standards
We stayed 4 nights and on the third day we came back to an uncleaned room. We had not put out the notice that we didn’t want it cleaned, so it should have been done. When I called the front desk, I was told housekeeping was gone and did I want clean towels. She did give me the $5 off coupon for the restaurant after I asked for it. Also when we arrived the valet parking was chaos. They had one valet trying to handle several cars at once. Just a side note, the balcony is very small and doesn’t even have any chairs to sit on. I can say that the restaurant was very good. Food was good as was the waiter, who remembered us the second time we ate there.

Great hotel
Clean and spacious hotel beautiful swimming pool and evening reception the best we have ever had. The food and selection on drinks was great. My kids loved the breakfast and swimming most. Definitely would stay here again.

Thank you to the manager that helped me out after flight cancellations
I was supposed to be there this week for a large conference. We always book this hotel for the conference because it is the best option for us for the cost. The breakfast is everyone's favorites. Rooms are nice size, the location is a perfect distance from convention center considering the amenities. We are not there to swim, so we can't judge that amenity.

However, this time, I spent 24 hours in American Airline flight cancellation misery trying to get to the conference. After 24 hours, it was determined that the airline could not get me to San Diego until the over halfway through the conference, so I cancelled totally and had to get a rental car just to get back home. Because I was a no show to the hotel, I was charged a one night stay which is standard in these situations. After talking to the manager and telling her my story, she waived the fee for me without having to beg and plead and get more stressed. It may seem like a small gesture to some of you, but it was a bright spot in the travel nightmare.

We will continue to use Embassy Suites for this conference in the future (it is always in San Diego every year).

Baseball Trip
Embassy Suites was amazing! The staff, food, and accommodations were perfect! The hotel is in the perfect place for those who enjoy having all activities nearby! Shopping, restaurants, museums, baseball...did I mention the weather lived up to everything I had heard about San Diego?!?!?

Amazing service
My company hosted an event at this hotel and the service was amazing! Phillip helped us with our rooms and I have never worked with a more helpful reservation manager (funny too!). I've worked with plenty of people in the past at all types of hotels and he was truly the best.

Amanda was also great and extremely helpful with our catering and event logistics. She not only made it an easy process, but she also helped me save some money which was truly appreciated.

The hotel itself is in a great location, on the bay and a nice walk to the water and into the downtown area. It is clean but a little run down. The service is what is going to bring us back to this hotel next year. Our clients also enjoyed the hotel as well and we received plenty of compliments on the food. Catering also went out of their way to help with those who had dietary restrictions and our clients were very thankful for that.
