Nothing fancy here, nor is the price. Place was much quieter than we expected. There appear to have been some serious efforts at updating and remodeling, but there's work to be done. Still, the Pacific is a reasonable walk to Harbor tours, the Midway Museum, and Seaport Village for well under $100/night. Staff could use a wake up call, but all in all we would stay here again.

Room Tip: Try to avoid rooms in the back under the stairs. Pretty dark and dismal in them

The location is good. But the room is too small, and the equipments are old. Especialy the bed is almost broken. The enviroment is good. Very quiet at night. We had a sound sleep there.
The parking lot is good. No worry on finding a space to park.
No breakfast served.

Room Tip: Second floor is good.

Generally this hotel is good value for money and a good location for many aspects of San Diego. It can be a bit noisy (combination of thin walls/ceilings and trains) but we've returned - so that says much for it. Breakfast basic but more than adequate (fresh fruit would be good). Pete - who was on duty evenings and nights we were there, was FANTASTIC - helpful and friendly above and beyond what could be expected

Room Tip: Probably better to be on 2nd floor as 1st floor can hear all noises from above.

Handy to the Naval history stuff I wanted to see. Night guy (Peter?) good at pointing out local amenities and getting me a cab to where I wanted to go. Only complaint is lack of bottle openers. Had to get night guy to open my bottles 2x. HP

I have been to many s.d hotels and Pacific Inn is way better than others in the Affordable price range...The location is practically waterfront ....accomodating ,nice staff ...especially Phillip who made sure I had all the comforts of home. When in s.d it's the only place I stay
