Last minute reservation, place was more expensive than a BW Plus location. Parking is atrocious and rooms should better attended to when it comes to repairs and cleanliness. I was appalled to see the location besring the name Best Western.

The location is very convenient at a reasonable price. The freeway is very close. The staff, front desk, housekeepers, breakfast staff and maintenance crew are all very friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable, but theirs no place like home. We will stay here again as we have family in the Navy stationed in San Diego.

Really enjoyed that breakfast. They always had a delicious option and a large variety available. The beds were so comfortable I slept like a baby! Best location I have stayed at so far. Will be staying here on my next visit.

Room smelled bad. My eyes burned and got red from the smell. Carpet is dark colored to hide the filth. We walked barefoot on the carpet with clean feet and then when we got in the shower, our feet left black footprints! Our room, as well as many other guests' rooms were not ready at 3:00 check-in. We had to wait and were treated rudely by a young man working behind the desk. Very unprofessional. Hotel was noisy. Walkways on the upper floors are very uneven and hazardous. Breakfast was good but the room is very small and many guests had no where to sit. Pool was in the center of the complex and noisy until 10:30 or later. Ice machine on our floor was out of service. Toilets are "wonky" with cheap plastic seats. Fan comes on loud when the bathroom light is turned on, which wakes others up in the room during the night. So many things - will not be back to this one, that's for sure!

We love the locatiion of this Best Western and the staff is always helpful. We go for walks on the bay,go to Balboa Park for theater. This place is easy access and pretty quiet and comfortable. We sometimes use it when we are in town for a bridge tournament.
