Days Inn and Suites Sea World

We spent 2 nights in that hotel.

Positive Aspects: Well located, nice swimming pool, large parking

Negative Aspects: The Mexican lady at the front desk was agressive, not polite, not even answering when we were asking a question. She gave us a room under the standard we had paid for. Each time we were asking something we had an agressive answer (if answer was given) and very dark looking at us.
I think that people like her shouldn't work in commercial activity if they don't respect a minimum
customers.

The place does not look safe, I wouldn't advise it for families.

Regards,

Make sure to read the reviews in here. We showed up late on Wed night planning for a 2 night stay. We checked in and got to our room. When we opened the door we were blown away by the funky smell. The room was filthy, carpets stained, bathroom had pubic hair on the toilet and bath tub. Walls were dirty especially by the light switches. Our room was located right next to the pool where people were drinking, loud and pleanty of cuss words were coming out. This is definately not a family hotel, it's more like a crack hotel. We immediately packed it up and went back to the front desk and told them by no means are we staying here. The front desk acted like this wasn't the first time this had happened and refunded us with no problem. What ever you do, don't stay here!

Not a bad stay, despite the problems the room had.

The good: nice big king bed, two TVs, plenty of space.
The bad: leaky air conditioner (still worked, but just wouldn't go below 78F), a couple of dead power outlets.

Breakfast is included, but basic, and the pool was tidy enough. Really convenient location if you're heading to SeaWorld, the Zoo or Little Italy.

We checked in to this hotel and we checked out 15 minutes later. The pool was freakishly crowded, like a public pool, the jacuzzi was packed, there were clothed men in the pool area drinking alcohol and listening to loud music. We have 3 small kids and we didn't feel comfortable at all. The hotel staff tried to make us comfortable but they didn't have much else to offer us so we chose to go elsewhere. We won't be booking this hotel again.

To begin, our family vacation was booked through Orbitz and wasn't even the cheapest package avail and upon entering, the first impression was OK, obviously a budget hotel. We had 5 nights reserved with our package, but would NEVER stay again 1) we had only 2 working outlets in the entire room, so it was TV and phone charger taking turns with everything else 2) day 2 when the room was cleaned, the dirty towels were removed but no towels were replaced 3) he shower curtain did all but keep the water in the shower so the bathroom was constantly flooded 4) everytime we returned to our room, there was always a suspision of our personal items being looked through but wisely we left nothing of value in the room. One day upon returning, at night, we arrived to our curtains wide open and the lights on for all to see 5) Every night there it was quite a party spot. Just below our room was a group of people sitting outside with camp chairs drinking, not the scene we want for our kids. Loud music, smoke and yelling till well after midnight. Our last night there, the party had so many people there was no parking for paid guests. Ourselves and another small family both had to park across the street. Trash lined the walkway to our room. Later that night we had 2 guys apparently drunk and mistaken our room for theirs, pounding on the door and yelling. They stood around for quite some time and we heard them talking about "taking a dump" right outside our door. When we called the service desk, they said they would send security, which didnt happen. This is definately NOT a vacation destination for familes, it is unsafe and unclean

I stayed in a double queen suite for one night. The people when we were checking in were very nice but they forgot to give us a parking permit so my boyfriend had to go back down and get it. The room was very spacious and there are two tvs which was nice. In one night there were two flyers pushed through the door but it didn't bother us any. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The next morning we went to see what the free breakfast was and it wasn't bad. It was packaged and you warmed it up yourself but they had toast and butter, cereal, danishes and bagels with cream cheese. I had a bagel and it was really good.! They has apple juice, orange juice, milk, and coffee. You could also get a tray with eggs and pancakes or waffles for five dollars. The thing I disliked the most was when we went to leave we had parked by the opening at the bottom and there was a laundry room for the staff right there. There was around 20 people working right here and blocking the way. They didn't move for us we had to wait for them and they seemed rude. Other then that it was a nice stay.

Room Tip: From what I saw I wouldn't get a room down by the laundry room.

We stayed in about 10 places over a month so this is an honest opinion. Our suite consisted of 3 rooms ( a bathroom, bedroom with a balcony and living room), this was quite a surprise as the cost was very reasonable with a tv in both the living and bed rooms. There was a fridge and coffee making facilities. The decor was very nice and had a good finish. The room was beside the pool and was very clean. Breakfast was decent. I was surprised when i realised that we were so far out of town but i booked it so you need to check that out before you go, my fault, but there were many restaurants and fast food outlets around. Transport was good with bus and train/tram facilities just up the road. Free internet in the lobby. Overall, a good place at a decent price.

Room Tip: If you want to be beside the pool then ask beforehand.
