It is not to be missed this tour, a wonderful experience for wine lovers and gastronomical delights. Myself, wife & adult daughter were chauffeured, entertained and informed by the wonderful Mario who is a first class tour guide who also has a great sense of humour.
The wines we tasted were indeed a high standard and the lunch was a gourmets delight in a winery setting, even came with Mexican Singing Waiters for a couple of birthday folk in our group.

My savvy sister once again planned this trip the night before- and it was all worth it. We booked the tour over the phone with Mario, handed over a credit card number, and were at the meeting spot 9am the next morning. Rene was an amazing host, driver, and entertainer. The price is most definitely worth the 3 tastings at each vineyard, an amazing lunch, and spectacular views. Don't forget- you are also paying for gas and time, as the traffic to cross the border back into the U.S. was a little excessive on a Sunday night. However, the drive is all along the Baja coast where the ocean views help pass time. The schedule rotates wineries from trip to trip- so make sure to ask before if you want to go to a certain winery or restaurant on the list. Both English and Spanish was used! Definitely recommend!

While spending a week in San Diego, my wife and I thought it would be fun to try the Baja wine tour. We thought it would give us a chance to see a bit of the country side. Not having heard anything about Mexican wines before, we went in with an open mind. Our driver, Mario, was wonderful. Beyond Wonderful, he was Exceptional! Being a Mexican national he knew the area and the history and gave us an unprecedented guided tour of the wine region. Mario, coupled with the outgoing group we happened to travel with, made this trip a truly exceptional highlight for us. And the wine, including the tasting experience, was a pleasant surprise.
