We have been to kous kous twice and have had a great dining experience both times. Food is interesting and well spiced with delicious Moroccan favors which are still accessible to a wide variety of palates (our teenage boys as well as my 80 year old parents loved it). The atmosphere is appropriate to the cuisine, dark with ethnic Moroccan decor. The tagines are delicious as is the lentil soup. My only quibble is that the interior needs a bit of sprucing up.....walls need paint retouching in several areas and some of the tables/furniture are starting to look a bit frayed. Otherwise, you will truly enjoy this little gem in downtown hillcrest area of San Diego.
