My wife and I had a fantastic meal at La Bastide. This Is one of my favorites in San Diego. The appetizer menu has about 20 selections. I could of had any one of them, they looked so good.. Ended up having the mussels. They were great, not fishy or gritty at all. For the entree, i had the steak frites, and my wife had the scallops, served in a rissotto stuffed acorn squash. Fantastic. For dessert, we split the nutella crepe, reminded us of our time on the Left Bank. Service was prompt, and our waitress was really friendly. All in all, highly recommended.
