“Tasty food, lovely outdoor seating area”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

We ended up at the AleHouse on Thanksgiving since everything else was closed, but were pleasantly surprised with the food. The sampler appetizer was large, and the shepard's pie and ahi sandwich were delicious. The white wine sangria was pretty tasteless and only had a bit of what tasted like canned fruit in it.The really great thing about this place was the rooftop terrace. The heat lamps made it toasty warm and it was nice to sit outside.

“Good food, good brew, good view & good service!”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

My wife and I visited the AleHouse in mid Novemer and sat on the rooftop terrace, they had heaters going when it got cold so it was comfortable. It was a clear night and the view was great. The waitress was quick to get drinks and help us with questions about the beers - which were helpful - I recommend the Oktoberfest if its in season. The food was good quality and fresh. We both had tuna - seared ahi tuna sandwich and a ahi tuna poki dish - both were very good. It is a bit pricey if you have a few beers and tuna like us but the menu offered some cheaper options. I recommend going here if your in the area.

“Loved it! Great beer and food”

Service was not too shabby either. Very casual with great prices. Recommend the Crystal Peir Pale ale, the ahi sandwich, Salmon. Lots of good food, did I say how great the prices were? Loved it.

“Beer with a Beach View!”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

What a great place to end up after a long day on the road from hot Tucson to San Diego! I wanted a good dark beer with a view of the waves! Got it! The beer selection was good and the fish and chips were fantastic. Fun atmosphere, great people watching, sunset was a bonus!

“Roof top delight!”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

After a long day of surfing, this was a great spot for happy hour and nachos. Happy hour-check. DJ later-double check. Very hot on the roof top but cold pints made it completely worth it! Will definitely be back.
