“A must when in San Diego”

Lavender Lemonade Mimosa. Not much need to say more. This is a gem and has the most wonderful breakfast. The atmosphere is comfortable and French bistro. Love it!

“amazing croutons!”
Reviewed September 8, 2013

a tiny little piece of France in downtown San Diego. lovely ambience, a bit cool on the tiny patio, and indoors, but wonderful food
The croutons were homemade, sauteed in olive oil and almost a meal unto themselves!

“Fine dining in bistro atmosphere”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

It looks and feels like a cafe or bistro but the food at Cafe Chloe is fine French dining,
From the unusually creative and delicious salads to the exquisite cheese platter ( but they could lose the honeycomb which just gets wax in your teeth!) to the 1st class fish specials, I highly recommend Cafe Chloe. The menu is limited but there are daily specials and everything we tried was very good. Warning:it's a bit pricey especially for the casual appearance but a great place to spend a quiet special evening with friends.

“Great breakfast!”
Reviewed September 1, 2013 via mobile

Very good breakfast selection, great service, high quality food, very good coffee. Pleasant environment despite street corner location. Some tables are a little small for more than two people, because I like to have room for my iPad. I would definitely return next trip to SD.

“A nice find”
Reviewed August 31, 2013

Lots of choices to dine in the gaslight district. We happened upon this one and decided to give it a try. Glad we did. Seating inside and out, at small tables that turned out to be adequate enough, although the small chairs were a bit uncomfortable. A nice choice of appetizers and entrees. Opted for the zucchini blossoms that were very good. Followed with pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon, served over a creamed corn and tomato base. Nicely seasoned and decent portion. Service was prompt, friendly and attentive.
