Excellent tour! Headphones explain everything. A huge ship to tour. The sleeping quarters, mess hall, infirmary, and flight deck were our favorites. Of course the children also loved the flight simulators.

“Awesome!!!”

You must go see this. Put on your walking shoes and enjoy a day of history. A must see while in SD. Beware it's not stroller friendly so tips you have a little one use a carrier that you wear.

“Better than expected”
Reviewed June 11, 2013

The big problem with this attraction is parking close!
Having gotten over that problem, by parking down a the Seaport Village, we finally got in and were surprised at how interesting it was. Even my wife really enjoyed it.
Particularly interesting was the below decks tours of the messes, sick quarters, laundry etc.
If you are into that sort of thing there were plenty of retired docent servicemen to tell you about their life on the ship.
The food concession is very average.
Well worth a visit.
