“Cool but Expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

You can see a good portion of the ship by just walking around the pier. Cost was $19 for adults and $12 for kids...pretty expensive for a amply of four. If you want to see this and also plan to see other attractions in San Diego check out a Go San Diego pass to save $

We have been of the Midway several times. We love the self guided tour, you can take as much or little time as you would like seeing the amazing midway. The whole family enjoyed touring the aircraft carrier!

“Fun trip to the Midway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

We visited the Midway in April of 2013 with our 8 year old son. We all loved the experience. The volunteers were fantastic and informative. The Ship is amazing and huge! It was a great way to spend 3 hours and start our visit to San Diego.

“A great experience.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

The Midway gives a glimpse of what life is like aboard an aircraft carrier. One can wonder for hours taking in the exhibits and then relax on the back deck and have a lunch or a drink. Definitely worth a visit.

“Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013

Unbelievable! A must see for anyone who is interested in war machines. Planes, helicopters, the control bridge and even the captain's seat is available for visiting.

the corridors and stairs are claustrophobic and you keep thinking all the time, how those men did to survive in such space.
