“Great for Company Party”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 6, 2012

My husband had a company party here which was fun. A unique and interesting way to entertain a group of people. We had a nice buffet and access to flight simulators and volunteers giving tours.

“Great Museum”

The price was reasonable, $16 adult and most of the ship was open to the public. Very good overall. I would recommend when in San Diego.

“Wasn't too exciting”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2012

It was cool to get on a aircraft carrier to experience the size of it in person, but the tour inside the carrier wasn't so great. The air is kind of stuffy as you reaching into the lower levels of the carrier. Probably just me, but I didn't like the feeling of being in a confined space so I went to the upper deck to breath some fresh air. Then the combination of sun and cool breeze in the upper deck after getting sweat in the stuffy engine room gave me a migraine. What a terrible experience. If I was in a better condition, I would probably enjoyed it a bit more.

“Great tour!”

We had a company event on the USS Midway last night. Everyone thought the venue was fantastic. The tours were fantastic. I would like to return with my kids some day.

“Lots of history to take in . . .”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2012

I'm claustrophobic, so being in the bowels of this aircraft carrier was a little hard for me to take, but it was a good look at what our sailors have to get used to!
