Went on a Monday night that had a "restaurant week" pricing $23 for a four course meal (appetizer, soup or salad, entree and a dessert) and was not disappointed in the food. The food was fantastic! Prime rib was juicy, the sides were good and the dessert depended on which one you had. I chose carrot cake which I think would have been great had it not been half frozen still, but my girlfriend had the chocolate cake with raspberry glaze and it was out-of-this-world rich that between the two of us, it went unfinished.
On the down side, our server clearly just wanted to get out of work and was very slow and inattentive which was disappointing; multiple tables of hers came and left during our visit which, when you're in the back corner, does make you feel like you're being ignored. Water went unfilled for over fifteen minutes, wine wasn't poured, orders weren't taken, plates weren't cleared even when the next course had arrived... it added up to some terrible service.
I would definitely come back on a Monday or Tuesday again for their restaurant week deals, but otherwise, I think I'd be priced out of the restaurant and it isn't that much of a step up from Black Angus in my mind without the competitive pricing.
