Ok- the wait wasnt insane, it was pretty good for a sat at 10am about 25-30min (its often 1hr+ at snooze or hash house)
The place is a bit cramped and service was "eh" -they were busy but it still equaled lackluster service, but nothing crazy enough to keep away because of it
The food- my ham benedict was a bit salty, served with a giant slab of ham which is good for value but throws off the whole composition of the benedict dish- the hollandaise was not great-salty and watery and the bread became soggy but eggs were cooked nicely
My sig other got the hash-it was good but a bit too much blue cheese which overpowered the dish-coffee was fine.
for the cost(about 40 bucks) it wasnt worth it
so while its a fine choice, and if you just need a place asap and are in area it will by all means do fine. but for the money (and shorter wait) go to Parkhouse, its way better.
if you have time to wait: snooze is another great option, so is the cottage in la jolla
