USA Today had it right ranking Petco as the best ball park in the US and they were right on. No a bad seat in the place, awesome place to watch baseball. Been to 20 ballparks and Petco is the best by far.

Petco does the food right. I enjoy going to midweek midday baseball games here just to have lunch. Where else can you get cardiff crack nachos, a board n brew sandwich and brigantine tacos all in one place. The beer selections are also off the hook. Best stadium in baseball.

Went to a Padre game. Had fun. The Padres SUCK big time but the stadium, its location, food and drinks are outstanding. No need to even watch the game, Petco Park by itself is worth the visit, especially on a tipical sunny SD day

Petco Park is so family friendly. Very easy to get to with public transportation. The Park in the Park was a great area for my two young boys. Food options way better than typical ballpark fare.
Great seats/views no matter where you sit in the stadiium

I love to go to baseball stadiums and Petco Park is one of the best
in the United States, it has good food and the weather in San Diego is always right for a game.

Was in San Diego for a conference and we go to go to Petco Park to see Kelly Clarkson in concert! Not only was the concert amazing, but sitting on the field and looking up was awesome and awe struck!

I am not sure how it happened but the millennial dog owners (by the thousands) in the East Village seem to think that the Park at Petco Park is their own private toilet for their dogs. Daily when the park is open, which is most days, they saunter or take a scooter with their dog in tow and then proceed to have Fido defecate and urinate all over the park grass. Heaven forbid they would actually use the small area that is designated as the dog toilet area in the park. Dog feces contains tons of bacteria, one of which is coli and even if they pick up some % of the feces, there are still tons of bacterium left behind and the urine never gets picked up. This is an absolute health hazard and nobody seems to care that our children come and play on baseball days and then bring the feces home to the house that is on their hands and shoes. If you don't believe me, go check this out for yourself and then keep your child away from the Park at Petco Park as it has become a complete health hazard for our children.

PETCO Park is a wonderful stadium. It'swell designed and has everything you'd like is a baseball stadium... EXCEPT a good team. What \keeps me away from there today is that they have been a loser ever since they moved into this new park. I just won't support the lame efforts of the front office over the last ten years.

There are plenty of amenities to distract you from the team on the field. Great concessions, tremendous food. The sight lines are great- although the upper decks are very steeply pitched- be careful.

Parking is very haphazard, run by multiple private lots scattered around the downtown. After the game it's a crap shoot on how you'll get home- they have routed me to the highway a new way through downtown every time.

One note is that if you will be sitting in the shade or it is an evening game bring a jacket/sweater. The park gets a wonderful (and chilly) breeze off the ocean. It will be cooler than you think so be prepared.

Aside from my trivial complains, the place is a great place to see your favorite team (probably not the Padres) if you're coming in from out of town.

I enjoyed walking around the park in the outfield area during the day (loved the Tony Gwynn statue, and then we cam back hours later for the game itself, and that was a fun game experience, too. Probably one of the ten best ballparks I've been to (Out of about 25).
