“Good Food and Guinness”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2013

Good food, a little noisy, good guinness. Food prices are reasonable, guinness is a little pricey. Decor is classic old dark dingy Irish - all tht is missing is the bad language and smoke! Somenights there is a musician but he too loud for such a small pub
And the seats are like the old hard wooden seats you'd find in a 50's catholic parish churhc in rural Ireland - hard - you dont come here for creature comforts. But it is authentic, and its good to hear the accents from home - not some fake american food and accent and dress

“Nice Pub”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 21, 2013

The food and service were okay and there was lots of it. Good beer selection but poor selection of wines. But a good place for a quick meal or to watch the game.

“Authentic Irish Flavor”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2013 via mobile

Few places in America that you can find boxty, which is an Irish potato pancake used as wrap/shell. The Shepard's pie boxty was wonderful and covered with a thick robust brown gravy. This was complimented with an ample side of fresh vegetables. As good or better than Dublin. The service was quick and efficient. I had a beer and the total was less than 20 bucks. Located in the Gas Lamp Quarter, the pub had great ambience.

“Authentic Irish Pub”

A nice place to tip a pint o' Guinness. Good selection of Irish whiskey on hand as well. Live Irish music a nice addition they even played a song by the great Irish singer, John O'Denver!
A pleasant break from the typical Gaslamp fare in San Diego.

“Wonderful Irish Ambiance”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2013 via mobile

Good food, good service, wonderful atmosphere. Lived up to its rating. The Blue Burger was one of the best. Thick, flavorful bacon. The potato leek soup was thick and tasty. Full selection of Irish beers. Nice meal to end our visit to San Diego.
