“Overall good”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

The Field did feel more like an Irish pub/restaurant than others in the states. The food was good and plentiful. There was no crowd so the atmosphere was quiet. They did have a singer entertaining the customers but I wouldn't say he was singing a lot of authentic Irish tunes. Overall if you are in the Gaslamp Quarter this place is worth a look/meal.

Lovely pub, good food, great beer, awesome service. The night we were there they were playing a quiz and we won a t-shirt (for coming last....). Cheap night out.

“Good Food, Good Service, Good Prices”
Reviewed December 26, 2012 via mobile

When we entered the restaurant we were ambushed with loud music. We couldn't hear each other. We asked our waitress to turn it down and she did. One of us had the chicken sausage soup, which was more like a New Orleans' gumbo. It was yummy, nicely spiced. The service was good. Although they forgot to take the blue cheese out of my salad, they took 15% of the price. Plenty of food at a good price.
