Too many things wrong to claim to be a top echelon restaurant with these high prices. You should expect more.
1. The hostesses were boarding on rude; not even a hint of friendly or welcoming. We waited for a table, even with a reservation, and watched several people get the same impersonal treatment.
2. We got one wrong salad, one incorrect steak, the steak which was requested to be "very rare" was the most done at the table and the medium well done was the rarest. (Go figure.) All the problems were corrected, but sheez!
3. Our waiter was fine, but less than exceptional.
4. Everything tasted great, but at these prices they should.
In short, this is a good steak house promoting itself as a great one and charging premium prices. There are better choices in SD.
