tried this restaurant one morning because it was close to motel. we drove there but parking was a nightmare when you could find it. the food was average but plentiful. the service had room for much improvement. had to remind waiter several times for different items we needed. probably won't go back when in san diego

We walked in for breakfast...one waitress was on who seated us and then disappeared. We took one look at the cost for items on the menu including a $2.85 cup of coffee and a rum and coke 'special' that was posted all over for $5!!!!! We still sat for another 3 minutes and still no waitress so we left. I wouldn't ever bother again...they supposedly have a "World Famous" pancake but you might never see your server to order it and it might cost you $10!!!!

Tucked In between hotel along Hotel Circle this unassuming restaurant has amazing food! We didn't go for the famous Apple Pancake but, other breakfast selections were great. Huevos rancheros was "better than in Mexico" our son said. My typical eggs/bacon/hashbrowns were the best I have had. The wait staff was friendly and attentive.

huge portions, really clean ceiling ( recently painted ), in a vintage looking diner ( late 70?? ) , had the cornbeef and eggs with one pancake on the side, coffee was pretty good, not uber strong stuff, waitress was very friendly, parking was a bit tough since it's adjacent to a big hotel

We took four adults on a Monday eve at 6:00 pm and experienced some of the best food and service you can imagine. The server was joyful, competent and kind... The dishes were unusually delicious. No wonder they've been in business for 45 years. Two of our party split an entree, one of our party wanted a bit of customization of his meal... All handled graciously by the server. Highly recommend this place for casual dining with good food, clean environment and great servers.
