We took our party of 8 to this authentic German restaurant and had a terrific evening. With reservations, we were seated right away, but the place was packed. It took awhile to get served, although the bier and soft drinks came right away. I've had the wiener schnitzel before and it was delicious, but settled this time for the special (and much less expensive) pork schnitzel, which was very tasty. The dinners come with soup or salad and two sides and I selected spaetzel (delicious after adding a little salt and pepper) and applesauce (ordinary). There were plenty of other sides, including German pancakes, red cabbage, sauerkraut, etc. Others in our party had sauerbraten, kasseler rippchen and the wurst platte. All were pleased with their meals.
The cozy place is well decorated with German artifacts and lots of awards on the wall.
The small parking lot adjacent to the restaurant was full when we arrived in two vehicles and we had to park several blocks away.
