“The best Seafood and SO fresh”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

You walk into Mitch's and it feels like home atmosphere. Wonderful people and OH the mouth watering food. Clam Chowder to die for, and fresh catch seafood to favor your palate. I make it a point to get there several times a year, even though I live hundreds of miles away. Mouth is watering just writing this. It is a WINNER!

“Nothing spectacular”
Reviewed December 8, 2012

The chowder was just so-so. And the other stuff we ordered was nothing spectacular either. Not really a one-$ place as Yelp indicates. Not worth going out of one's way to eat there.

“Must visit! Incredible options”
Reviewed November 24, 2012 via mobile

We were recommend to go here by a local. They were spot on the fish options were plentiful and super tasty! I got corvina fish tacos and they were the best I've had in years. Also we tried the shrimp ceviche another perfect flavor mix. The wife got a grouper sandwich which was large by texas standard and the serving of fish was generous. If you are within 15 miles make the trip to this delicious restaurant by the water

“Simple place, fresh delicious fish”
Reviewed November 18, 2012

This is a small, casual restaurant where you stand in line to give your order, seat yourself and they bring your food. The fish and the simplest preparations seem to be best. The crab cakes were two large patties barely held together with mayonnaise, no filler. Rich, most and absolutely delicious. The wahoo on the "daily catch" list was a very large portion of beautifully grilled fish. The seafood stew had lots of assorted fish and seafood in a light tomato broth, but I really could have used some seasoning in the broth. These entree dishes ran a bit over $15 each. There are less expensive items like fish tacos and sandwiches under $10. It's less hectic here than at Ocean Seafoods next door.
