Reservations make it very easy! If I had known we would have had dinner on the patio or balcony. Our server was awesome and the food wow so fresh! The Fish Market was highly recommended! We finished around sunset so we spent the rest of our last night enjoying the sunset and admiring the Bob Hope Memorial next to the fish market! When we come back to San Diego we will be visiting the Fish Market again.

we had an afternoon free from business and wanted to eat by the water. The view on the balcony is gorgeous!! we had a delicious bloody mary , which of coarse cones with a fresh shrimp on a skewer.
The fish tacos were awesome. chopped salad with shrimp was great. The clam chowder soup was one of the best.

The Fish Market is a wonderful restaurant for your first night in San Diego. My friend and I enjoyed a stroll along the Embarcadero. We arrived at 5:30 pm and only had a short wait. We were surprised to receive a wonderful table with an ocean view. The service was wonderful. They didn't seem to mind that we were slow eaters and enjoying the view. Our meals were delicious. The shark was really good and the swordfish tacos were really tasty. We split a bottle of wine and the entire meal cost $45 per person. It was a great way to start our adventure in San Diego.

If you love crab cakes this is the place to go to! My wife is extremely particular about her crab cakes. A week after our visit, I find her still raving about how delicious and crunchy they were.
Every time that we visit San Diego, we seem to gravitate to the Fish Market for fresh seafood. We have not been disappointed. We have always found the seafood fresh and plentiful.

What a great spot to have lunch after the 2 hour harbor cruise. My sister and I strolled down the walkway along the harbor, passing street vendors, bike taxis, and "the kiss" statue to get to this restaurant. No wait. (One reason I love traveling in September.).

We each had an Alaskan fish meal with garlic roasted potatoes and vegetable medley. They served a crusty warm bread with butter that was delicious. The fish meal was around $18.
.
We parked at a public parking lot for $10 for the day. Perfect spot as we could take in all the sights and not have to worry about finding a new parking spot each time.

I highly recommend this restaurant!!
