Terrific place for a burger, fries, and fun! They do a great job bringing you back to the 50's including dancing waiters and waitresses, a live DJ, and a vintage Corvette to ogle. Don't go if you want quiet and candlelight. Go if you want to enjoy a unique place really close to Old Town .

“A BLAST,”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

Took our to grandsons here on a Saturday night and had a great time. Service was great, music was awesome and the decor was fantastic. Food was average, but the shakes were excellent. The boys got balloon hats and played in the arcade after dinner. Highly recommended!

A real 50's diner with singing and dancing waitresses. We loved it. The food was excellent, and very large meals. Great milk shakes.we had the best time. A must for your visit to San Diego.

“Holy Milkshake, Batman!!”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

Great burgers in this 50's themed diner complete with live DJ, magician, and entertaining staff.
The crown achievement here is their milkshakes. Do not leave without getting a milk shake. 4 scoops of ice cream in every shake! I tried the "Elvis" - Chocolate, peanut butter & banana!! Very tasty!! Make sure your kids get "Straw Hair" from your server.

“We need more restaurants like this!”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

We have been to Corvette Diner a handful of times and it is always a fun time. We recently went for my daughters 7th birthday dinner and it was great! Even though it was busy we were seated right away. There is enough going on in the restaurant to keep the kids from getting bored. The waitress took time to do both our daughters hair up with staws and lids for a fun and crazy hairdo. There are a few balloon people walking around for the kids which is an extra cost. The staff did about 3 different dances while we were there and are not shy about involving the kids or anyone else that wants to get into it. They asked when we got there if we were there for a special occasion and we let them know that it was our daughters birthday. We ordered the cotton candy for dessert and didn't realize what we were in for. It was huge! Then they sang a fun birthday song for my daughter. She has not stopped talking about it for the last three days. I wish there were more of these restaurants in San Diego!
