My husband found this restaurant on a long walk to Hillcrest and his knowledge came in handy when our reservation fell through at Cucina Urbana. We were not disappointed. We never made it past the appetizers, but left very satisfied.
Favorite Dish: The Kratong Tong: Delicate “golden cups” filled with chicken, potato, sweet peas and carrots. Totally delicious small bites that you assembled yourself. The Tom Yum Soup and Gyoza were also well done.
The current Celadon is the latest version of a long-time Hillcrest favorite. The website has a certain hip grunge look to it, but don't be fooled. This is a very atmospheric and elegant spot, The only oddity to me was that Celadon is the name of a color and a ceramic glaze, but the main color inside was definitely purple/fuschia.
