We've stopped by here several times; it is about 10 miles north of downtown San Diego.
Food is Cuban and Puerto Rican. People there are friendly, and food has always been good.
We had Camarones Enchilados (shrimp in tomato sauce) and Macitas de Puerco (crispy marinated pork) - both were very good and enough to fill us.
Negatives: parking can be a slight pain, as spaces are limited and it may be awkward to get out if lot is full.
The restaurant is right out on a major thoroughfare; get a table away from the front, as there are occasional motorcycles that roar through.
