What a find, great Italian in San Diego. Atmosphere at the restaurant is great and food is melt in your mouth good. Tony (the owner) and his son Phillip (I think) are very welcoming and took great care of us.
We decided to sit at the bar to eat while we watched the Big 12 Basketball tournament (I had a couple guys from Tulsa, Ok with me) and we didn't order, Phillip just kept bringing us food and wine. His wine selection was impeccable and each dish was just fantastic. We had fresh sea urchin, Caesar salads, veal chops and osso bucco. Everything was delicious, and the home made gelato with a shot of espresso on top was an unbelievable night ender.
We definitely would go back here when in San Diego again!
