“Business dinner”
Reviewed February 7, 2014 via mobile

Had a business dinner here in a party of 10. The place is nicely decorated in an upscale fashion, and very cozy. Service was prompt and attentive. I tried the meatballs, tuna, and shrimp cocktail for appetizers, all were good but the meatballs were exceptional. For an entree I had the filet mignon a la oscar. It was perfectly medium, well seasoned but the crab topping wasn't that great in texture. I have had better steak combinations thus the 4 stars. For dessert I tried the lemon sorbet, it was average. All in all, nothing very special at this steakhouse, and the views were similar in my party.

“Food ok, waitress not so much”
Reviewed February 6, 2014

Went here on a recommendation and was treated well by the staff at the door but it went down from there. Waitress was very short and acted like we deserved little attention. Food was ok but definitely not for the price. Maybe she was just having a bad night.

“Good value table d'hôte”
Reviewed February 6, 2014

Had a very good value table d'hôte for $35 including filet mignon, which was cooked perfectly and came with mash. Should have ordered extra veg though as it comes without any. Well worth a visit.

“Great restaurant”
Reviewed February 1, 2014

Great restaurant. Food, ambiance, service, top notch. Used to visit as a single Mom with small kids at their peak times. My children were made to feel, not just welcomed but special. They do not provide a children's menu but provide smaller portions of anything on the menu. Have to love a top restaurant that accommodates families. One of my favourite restaurants in San Diego. Not cheap but well worth every cent.
