Had a delicious dinner at Avant in the RB Inn. Has only been opened
two weeks but was impressed by how well they seem to have things
together. The service was great, food was well presented and very good.
Farm to table and everything was fresh and wonderful. I had the calamari
and it was served with two sauces and a yummy relish of beans and cactus!
I also had the grouper which was the best I ever had. The wine list seems
limited but I only had a glass of wine not a bottle. I observed the outside area
which has a fire pit and comfortable seating. Seems like a nice place to have
a cocktail and conversation before dinner. All and all I'm very impressed with what
I experienced. I didn't know how the remodel would turn out but I actually like
it over the old.
