I kind of stumbled into this place on a morning walk. Opens at 8 AM on Saturdays and the line was already at the end of the block at 5 til. They shuffle you through quickly and the wait was only 30 minutes. Unique selection of gourmet donuts. They post the menu in advance on the shop's website, Facebook and twitter pages.

By far best donuts I have ever had with very creative flavors. Get there early though, they sell out at around 10:30 am. Some flavors I had were vanilla bean, cotton candy, blueberry with lemon glaze, strawberry cream cheese, red velvet, and maple bacon. My favorite was the vanilla bean and cotton candy. The size of the donuts are fairly large depending on the flavor and the prices are decent. If you walk by at night you can see the bakers making many donuts for the next morning.

This place has not just donuts but waffles as well. They had some really intriguing flavors of donuts when we were there (Margarita, German Chocolate, Cotton candy to name a few). Of course being donuts they were on the sweet side, but if you prefer a savory breakfast, the bacon waffles were great! Get there early - especially weekends as they sell out fast!

I should warn these donuts are not inexpensive. And that's actually a good thing or I'd be there every morning.

Donut Bar offers an amazing selection of different kinds of delicious goodness. As I understand it they make a certain amount a day and when they're gone, they're gone. This has lead some in our office to get there early for a great selection then we all divvy up the donuts into quarters so we can sample the treats.

Selections include items as varried as a Creme Brulee which is a small creme filled donut with a hard crunchy glaze; The Maple Bacon (yes with Bacon) not one of my faves, but others loved it; Salted Caramel; the Elvis which is a banana creme custard with peanut butter glaze topped with a chocolate note and the list goes on.

The great thing is each donut really is unique. The vanilla bean donut has a great glaze and the donut itself is night and doughy. The cake donuts are excellent and ... well it's difficult to find anything negative to say about their selection which changes daily as I understand it.

Donut Bar is a great place for a special treat, or if you have a meeting or a gathering with friends. They be pleasantly surprised by the variety and tastiness of the selection whatever your selection happens to be.

I sampled four different donuts, but only one impressed me: the blueberry cake with lemon glaze. The raised varieties had tasty frostings, but the donuts themselves were heavy and tasteless. I wanted to give three stars, but that blueberry-lemon number alone is worth a star.
