We first went to this restaurant in Old Town San Diego several years ago when we visited. We loved it so we wanted to go back on this trip. The margaritas were delicious, but my hubby and I shared the fajitas, and they were the best fajitas we've ever had! Like EVER! We got the combo with steak, chicken, chorizo, and pork. I only ate the steak and pork and they both were to die for. The steak was seasoned well and cooked perfectly and the port was tender and juicy. Also, the presentation was so beautiful I almost didn't want to eat it! There was plenty for both of us, and in fact, we couldn't eat it all. The staff was very friendly and made us feel special by asking where we were from, how we liked San Diego, etc... We plan to go back every time we visit San Diego!

Very accommodating wait staff and super friendly. One of the few restaurants in Old Town that will let you bring your dog on the patio. Food is decent and the drinks are great.

On our tour to old town saloon we decided to have dinner. It was a pleasant evening so we decided to sit outside in open.

Food was delicious and value for money, we ordered fajita chicken sizzler, chicken mole corn, stuffed salmon with crab and pizza of children menu. Size of portion was large and we found difficult to finish.

Restaurent was children friendly and one children below 10 was free.

Margarita was good, size was small. House red wine was good.

Worth visit a repeat.

We tried this restaurant last year and it has become a family favorite! Delicious Mexican Food! Favorites include the carne asada plate, Barra Barra appetizer sampler. I love how they serve chips, salsa, AND a black bean dip as soon as you're seated. The chips are served warm from the oven and the salsa and bean dip are so tasty. We've tried several items from their vast menu and have not been disappointed yet! Their mango sea bass ceviche is a MUST! Very generous portion comes in a large bowl and can easily be shared by 2-4 people. Margaritas are great! Desserts too! We tried the churros with cajeta & chocolate on our last visit a few days ago...heavenly! Ask to sit in the outdoor patio so you can enjoy the sites of Old Town as you dine. The restaurants in Old Town can get very crowded including this one, but the line here is typically not as long as the restaurants in the Fiesta de Reyes Plaza. And this restaurant is worth the wait for sure!

We planned to go to another restaurant in Old Town, but the wait was long. We checked in at Barra Barra, were told it would be about 20 minutes, but 10 minutes later we were being seated in a beautiful outdoor garden. Reminded me so much of being in Mexico. Loved it!

Service was quick and gracious. Our server was very nice and accommodating.

My husband had Carne Asada and I had a fresh tamale and Indian fry bread taco with pork carnitas. All was excellent, served hot, and was plenty of food!!! House margarita was great and kids eat free everyday. My daughters burrito was perfect size for her and was served with a small salad.

I'm so glad we went here and if and when we return to San Diego, this will be top of our list to eat at.
