The employees in the hotel are very service-oriented and welcoming. My room was inviting, and I loved the window seat, which made the room feel even more roomy. The only issue I had was that the elevator is loud. I could hear it in my room quite plainly, and I wasn't right next to it. I got used to it. I asked about it at the desk, and the courteous young woman said they are working on it right now. They know it's a problem, and are acting, which is all one can ask. Bed is comfy!
The bar was pleasant, and the bartenders professional. The lobby is directly in front, so you can find a cozy a spot to be alone, check your email, and have your drink. Busy as it should be around 5-7 or later. All in all, I do recommend this hotel. Once the elevator is fixed, it's a great place. Easy walk to Gas Lamp and Convention Center - about 20 minutes. Rail is just a moment away, too.More
