We recently stayed here for a soccer tournament. Service was excellent (staff seemed to really care if people staying there were happy), rooms were nice, beds were comfy.
Two problems - not really a great breakfast option at the hotel. I liked the set up of the bistro because it was quick and easy (operated similarly to a Corner Bakery or Panera Bread), but the bistro food for purchase was mediocre and had limited selections. Also, it would have been helpful to have the bistro open for lunch. The team buffet was awful. We did not eat it. Even though we had paid for it, it was unappetizing so we ordered from the bistro.
The bigger problem was the window/noise situation. We drove down from LA because we had a morning game and wanted to get a good night sleep. At 9:30, when we were trying to go to sleep, there was another team at the pool making quite a bit of noise (the usual noise you would hear when a large group of teens is swimming). We could hear this so clearly in our room that we thought the window must be open. It was not. Better quality windows would have helped quite a bit. I talked to the front desk and they said they would be shutting down the pool at 10, which they did do. After that, all was quiet. Normally, this wouldn't have bothered me. If you want to retire any earlier than 10, I recommend asking for a room not facing the pool and/or on a higher floor. (we were on the 2nd floor)
