“Gliderport”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 10, 2012

I was very interested in visiting the gliderport. Unfortunately, it was mid-week so the parking was tight with UCSD students and since the wind wasn't cooperating (0 mph) noone was gliding. However, the sandwiches at the snackbar were great and the view was awesome.

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 10, 2012

As a place to chill or get some fresh air, this part of the southern california coast is a breath of fresh air. Well worth the time and quieter than P.B. or other tourist beaches in the area.

“Our favorite place to go in San Diego area”

We have been to San Diego three times and each time we come to Torrey Pines. Beautiful area for breathtaking scenery, great pictures and some hiking. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting San Diego.

“Nice hike on the beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 8, 2012

This is a busy beach park, lots of hikers and joggers. If you prefer not to see male nudity avoid the southern area near the popular nude beach, Black's Beach. As always, Black's is a sausage-fest but the beach is one of the most beautiful in SoCal. There is a fee to enter the park unless you park north or south of the park and hike in. The hike to Flat Rock is not to be missed and is best at low tide, check the charts.

“Beautiful area”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 8, 2012

Breath taking views and a beautiful park. Pay attention as you enter the parking areas, the lot we parked in did not have signage at the parking meter which resulted in a $70 ticket.
