Really breathtaking to walk the Guy Fleming Trail. Very easy to walk but views are stunning. Beach is also wonderful...not too crowded, lots of waves and plenty of space to build sand castles for kids. Easy parking, good facilities..really enjoyable

If you are into state parks, hiking and lovely scenery this is a must. I went here with a horticulture class in the study of native California plants. Needless to say - they were in abundance. The trails here have varied vegetation due to the multiple micro climates.

Beautiful hiking. The trails are easy to moderate difficulty. You can hike to the beach on some trails or just to overlooks on others. Not a lot of shade on the trails. Probably no more than 4 miles to beach and back.

You owe it to yourself to visit the Torrey Pines Glider port which is used for para gliging. It is always active after 11am because of a steady breeze from the west causing orographic lifting at the Gilderport. There are no gliders other than a few models now and then. One of my favorite spots.
