We decided to go here based on some other reviews and are really glad we did. There are many trails and some are rough, make sure to wear walking shoes. Parking was $10 which seemed reasonable, there aren't any places to get food or drinks so make sure to take water.

First visit to San Diego and took the family for a hike on a cloudy day. Planned a picnic but NO FOOD ALLOWED on the trails. Bummer but still super fun. Took easy Guy Flemming trail. Easy trail and amazing views. A highlight of our trip..... In and out in under two hours... $10 parking or drive along coast for free parking.

Torrey Pines is THE PLACE to be if you are gonna visit San Diego. The trails here are very well maintained and well marked; they are not too hard for the novice hiker. It does get crowded VERY fast though, so get there before 10:30 if you can. This is great for families too, I saw a lot while I was there-oh, and did I mention, the VIEWS!!! The ocean, the pines themselves, canyons, lookouts-the list of views goes on and on. Definitely a must see.

We took a walk along the beach and up onto one of the scenic views. Beach is sparkly and very pretty. Parking costs $10 for the day. A nice place to get away from cars and malls.
