Great views from the cliffs and down on the beach. Definitely worth it to soak in the beauty of this place and be in the great outdoors!

For someone from the East Coast, this is a beautiful opportunity to hike trails that overlook the beautiful Pacific, with varying degrees of difficulty. There are both free and pay-for parking opportunities. On the mid-week day we visited, it was not at all crowded. I wish I had had more time, as one can hike to the beach and stay there for a while.

My wife and I drove to the upper parking lot and walked several of the trails. The views are incredible, and the trails were easy to navigate. Didn't make it down to the beach but went as far as Yucca Point. Weekday morning wasn't very crowded. This was our favorite part of our whole trip, and should have spent more time here. You could easily spend most of a day if you like to hike.

Nice hike, it was fairly easy. Awesome views. My 9 yr old went w/me and she absolutely loved it. There were people of all ages and fitness levels on the trail. Get there early for free parking.

En route from San Diego to LA, we decided to stop at the Torrey Pines State Reserve. It was $10 to enter and park, and then there are many trails that go along the mountains and near the ocean. The trails are fairly short and not too difficult. The views are amazing! We went from the Visitor Center all the way down to the ocean, and then back up again. We did the trails on a cooler 65-degree day, which made it very comfortable. Strongly recommend!
