“La Jolla”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

We had a great tour of La Jolla with Jarrod on Sunday. The bites of food were great and a good variety. We live in San Diego, but had never been to any of the places where we stopped. It was great to learn a little more of the history of La Jolla and a wonderful way to spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Jarrod was a great tour guide and kept us entertained during the whole tour.

“Great food, great walk, great day!”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

Spending the afternoon in Julian with Bite San Diego's Dana leading the way was a true treat. We were familiar with Julian, but Dana's insights into the town's history, haunted spots, local characters, and specialty culinary spots gave us a whole new perspective. We indulged in delicious food and beverage, including barbecue, scones, fudge, sandwiches, beer, tea, and -- of course -- pie! Dana's sense of fun played well alongside her knowledge of the people and places we visited, and she was happy to answer questions and linger at specific spots where we were able to shop and browse as part of the tour. Now we'll be able to return to Julian with some insider knowledge of local favorite spots, and we'll definitely check out other Bite San Diego tours!

“Great way to get a feel for an area”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

We had a coupon special to try the bite of San Diego Hillcrest tour. We went with another couple and had a wonderful experience. We went to some restaurants that we had not been to before and also had a brief history lesson of the area. Dani was a great tour guide. We can't wait to try one of their other tours.

“Great Experience!”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

My friends and I, party of 5, had a fun experience at Bit San Diego, Hillcrest. Though we felt that one of the tasting choices could have been better, we had fun with our group and our leader, Dani. She was fun, energetic, and very informative. She gave us bits of history as we walked, which was really cool.

We absolutely loved Jimmy Carter restaurant but could have done without the Kona Coffee stop because they didn't serve us anything special, just regular coffee. The other three restaurants were good. So, four out of five of the tastings met my expectations.

Overall, I would definitely do this again because I was able to experience new places in beautiful San Diego and have fun with my friends.

Thanks Dani!!
