Best breakfast / lunch place in the Gaslamp district. Service was very good, waiters are attentive and friendly. Omeletes and french toast are soo good. Portion sizes are very good and food is flavorful. I had the make your own omlette with sausage and cheese, lots of sausage added, they dont skimp on the ingredients. Omletes come with biscuts that are the size of a hamburger, you can also sub the biscut for a muffin, also choose between fruit (nice size portion) hash browns all for under $10. Large selection of breakfast items. Service is quick. If you want mimosa's they are served here as well. The best breakfast I found in GasLamp district. Enjoyed breakfast twice here. You may also choose to dine outdoors. Excellent casual breakfast cafe!!

Food great. Low noise level for the most part. When the place is packed service lacked, when the place was empty the service was better. Food orders were wrong when busy, food was cold when it wasn't... Either way the taste was great (so I would recommend).

There is a better place a few blocks a way (The Mission), but for the location and breakfast it's a nice place to visit. Seems mostly touristy, rather than local regulars.

This restaurant has a nice feel to it. Generous serving size and what you would expect for breakfast. I appreciated having the choice of fresh fruit instead of hashbrowns. The only thing is that the service was a little slow. We were there around 9, just after the big breakfast rush, so I expect it could probably be even worse than we experienced.

We ate at this restaurant for 6of 6 mornings of our holiday in San Diego. The food is fantastic, huge portions and hot. The restaurant is always busy but the turnover is fast so there usually is not much of a wait. The serving staff are fast and never missed refilling our water glass or coffee. They have a 12 egg omelette special that if you each under 50 minutes it's free...check out the wall for success stories. We signed up for the restaurant card (free) and once you spend $110 US you get $10 off your next meal. We would definitely eat here again and again.
