Tim's tour was so good! He is a natural tour guide and very courteous and kind to everyone in the group (even those from Portugal who didn't stop talking while everyone was trying to hear his info). The main object of the tour was La Jolla, but along the way we were informed about the history and natural environment of the whole area. A special treat was the visit to Torrey Pines Golf course which we had only seen on TV from afar (Australia). A unique tour.
Tim is so bursting with information, the tour isn't long enough to impart his knowledge.
Lunch in La Jolla at his recommended cafe was superb and the best meal we ate over our 8 day stay in San Diego. Thank you Tim. We hope your company keeps growing.

There was no tour designated for the day we wanted, so I emailed Tim and he obliged. Tim was very informative about everywhere we went. We learnt of the history of the area places to go etc. We went to Mt Soledad, where it can be quite cold. Unfortunately. the day we were there, it was quite overcast and view wasnt as good. Tim introduced us to a WW2 veteran, so learnt about some history from him. We went to MIssion Bay, took a drive through the local college (UCSD), and back to La Jolla "village". Here we had lunch, free time if you wished, or a walking tour. We opted for the walking tour which took us along the shops, hotels, lookout points and old buildings, down along the beach, the theatre where Gregory Peck started and comes back every year to give back to the community that gave to him. We watched where the hang gliders take off, no accidents on the day, off to Torrey Pines Golf Course which is very beautiful even if you are not into golf. Time went quick oin this tour and I highly recommend you take this tour

Tim took us on a full day private tour which exceeded all of our expectations. He is extremely knowledgeable about not just La Jolla, but the entire San Diego county. We visited Mount Soledad, several beautiful and famous beaches, and Point Loma. Then, Tim took us east into the mountains for a completely different view of southern California. He took us north to tour a brewery in Escandido, and then back to La Jolla. He really enlightened us about the culture, geology, and history of this beautiful area. He even gave us an extra hour of his time! The next day, my husband and I kept commenting that we missed having Tim nearby to answer new questions! With a passion for his city, and a curiosity for more knowledge, Tim is a wonderful guide to this area.

We called Tim to book his tour and he answered the phone right away and gave us all the information we needed to feel comfortable about doing this tour. Today, we went on the La Jolla tour and it was raining ...then pouring...which is a rare in San Diego. In the morning, Tim called to let us know that the tour will still happen and he will make changes based on how the rain situation pans out. He calls us later in the morning and let us know he will pick us up from the hotel instead of us meeting at the usual place. It was amazing that he was willing to take the time to do this to make it easier for all of us. He even said he would call us when he was on the way over to our hotel so we didn't have to wait... which he did. When we met him, we knew he was passionate about San Diego and it was going to be a good tour. We were right! He did a great job showing us the best of La Jolla. He even provided umbrellas for the rain and prepared material for us to view as he was talking about the various places along the tour. We had a great time despite being rained out. At the end of the tour, he apologized about the rain and even offered a complementary tour again on a sunny day. Well done Tim! I definitely recommend doing Tim's tour.

We were met at the bus (16 seater) by the friendly driver Bill, and Tim our tour guide arrived right on time. We were soon off on a fascinating tour taking in some of the northern suburbs of San Diego including the Mount Solidad War Memorial, Torrey Pines and the picturesque town of La Jolla.

Tim was knowledgeable, friendly and above all, patient. He gave us frequent opportunities to ask questions and provided fascinating tidbits of information. As a golfer, it was interesting to visit the storied Torrey Pines golf course. This had been preceded by the Mount Solidad War Memorial where we were shown plaques honoring Winston Churchill, Ronald Regan and Harry Truman.

The highlight was the visit to the town of La Jolla where we had a snack in a lovely Bistro, strolled among the fabulous shops, and enjoyed a leisurely clifftop walk where we could see Sea Lions, Seals, Pelicans and Cormorants in their natural habitat.

I thoroughly recommend this tour as interesting, educational and fun, especially because of Tim the guide who has a real knack for engaging his audience.
