Use the road to get down to the beach. The trails are dangerous. Long beach with high cliffs, beautiful place for a walk, play in the surf, sitting in the sun. Short section of nude beach. Comfortable with or with out your suit.
Don't try the hike if you are not in good shape.
An unusual beach because it is a challenge getting to it from the cliffs. Because it is hard to get to, I suppose that is why some beachgoers like to go au natural. You must be determined to make it to the beach. But it is a very scenic and of course secluded beach compared to others. The cliffs are fabulous and the scenery matches. Most people look down from the cliffs as going down to the beach is time consuming and can be treacherous.
The place itself is less congested and very natural in contrast to the rest of the Hyped beaches of the SoCAL.
A place to enjoy the nature in its true essence.
A stunningly beautiful, clothing optional beach where many folks go to surf and watch the paragliders from the Gliderport above. The trek down to the beach is steep and the path can get tough at times for tiny kids or older folks so know that going in.
I am not a shy person, so of course I could'nt resist the idea of diving into the crashing surf nude and feeling the water rush over my skin when I heard we were so close to a nude beach. This is not an ideal place to visit for anyone who is shy, offended by other peoples bodies, or is not physically able to climb the thousand or so uneven steps down to the beach. I know any females reading this will probably wonder how my experience was. YES, people will look at you, but generally they are respectful and do not stare or take pictures or anything inappropriate or lude. I had one incident with a man who set up his towel near mine and kept staring, so I moved my beach towel down the shore, and he left. Every other beach patron was kind and there was a nice community feel. There was an older couple who was experiencing a nude beach for the first time, and my friends and I talked with them for a while, as well as several girls around my age, and some lone men, mostly jogging or swimming down the shore line. All in all, Black's beach is a comfortable place to get in touch with nature and feel the ocean on your bare skin. Plus? NO TAN LINES! hahaha.
Beautiful. Also nice for longer walk directly at the beach. It has public access and indeed is BLACK sand - the only one nearby we found
