Tasteful telling of the history of one part of the Momon westward movement using a skillful combination of guides, video, & props. It's free with parking in the rear. Allow about an hour. Expect some pitch for their faith.

This is just a wonderful place to visit in old town San Diego. Both adults and children will really enjoy this place. There is no pressure from the missionaries who volunteer as the tour guides and the tour is really impressive. In some ways it feels like a ride at Disneyland and the kids love it. This is a fun way to learn about some of the history of the area that many are not familiar with. The quality of the tour and presentation is as good as it gets. I would recommend this to any of my friends who visit old town San Diego. The tour is about 35 minutes.

This was a great place to go on a lazy Sunday. I am not much of a museum person but this kept me pretty interested. The missionaries were very welcoming and they were good guides throughout the interactive exhibits. The site is in a cool part of the city as well. It was educational and feel good.
