If you are in San Diego then you need to see how it was settled! This is an interactive show that makes you feel like you are one of the pioneers who blazed the way for San Diego!

The park itself is beautiful, but the historical monuments are extremely interesting and well presented. There should be more places like this.

Well worth the 35 minutes to see the story of real people settling the west. I had no idea how much the mormon pioneer movement helped in building San Diego. The experience is free and interactive which will entertain the family. Coupons are also available to some of the restaurants in Old Town to help save money for other attractions.

It's very clear the purpose of the tour is to convert anyone who comes, but kudos to them for adding to the history of the region. Plus they are open later than any other museum, so you can go here before heading to old town.
