“Great food with lots of variety”

A great menu with plenty of food ranging from purely american fare like the steak fries to fairly authentic mexican with mole. The portions are large and a nice beer selection too.

“Good bar, restaurant maybe not”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 4, 2014

First time we visited this restaurant we found on travel website supposed to be very good.
A half of the restaurant is bar setting and half have booths and small tables. Most of the people are standing around bar having drink. There were only total of 4-5 booths and 5 of 2 people tables, waiting for sit & eat is very long. We were there for dinner. Consider price ($8-12?) and food I felt they were more like bar menu. I ordered Mix& match tacos.(shrimp, sirloin, cochinita).
Cochinita pork taco was VERY GOOD! very tasty. Taco comes with double soft shell, I had to take one shell off for other 2 tacos because filling's taste was weak not standing for thickness of double shells. Definitely I will order cochinita pork tacos next time.
We ordered Margaritas. They were over priced for a drink almost taste like juice(not much alcohol in it) $8.50. when consider my taco dish was $10. 79.
overall, its a place for happy hours, and drinking with quick bite. Not a place for enjoying real restaurant experience.

“Fresh mexican food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2014

Convenient downtown location. Very fresh mexican food & great service! The el pastor pork & pineapple tacos are very good (not Tacos el gordo amazing, but very good)
Amazing 4 hr long happy hour deals & all day happy hour on Mondays! They also have late night meals since the kitchen doesn't close until 1am.

“Ok Mexican fare”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2014

Went here for dinner with friends while in town for a conference. Noisy, cramped, and average food. Nothing fancy, but not terrible. Our server was overworked, but still great. Glasses were kept fill, the meals came out quickly. We were a large party that needed separate checks and not one mistake was made.

“Good food and drinks!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 22, 2014 via mobile

Ate here two nights in Jan 2014. The Margaritas were excellent, hit Happy Hour so they were half price. Chips and red and green salsa served were great. Ate tacos, shrimp and pork ones are excellent, beans, rice and corn sides are all yummy.

Service was excellent both nights. If you call in advance you can get a table within 45 mins, so planning in advance is the key. It was very busy both nights so calling ahead is a good idea.
