Amazing beach adventure. My children 5, 3, &1 loved every bit of it! We will be back. Don't forget to check the tide schedule before you head out!

“Family Fun”
Reviewed June 27, 2013

Love the tide pools, but the tide was in on the last trip. Would love to have a sign announcing tidal times on the sign for the parking lot. Great views and fun.

“Cool little spot”
Reviewed May 30, 2013

Great place to visit if you're going up to see the lighthouse on Cabrillo Point or the monument, or even stop down after you've been to Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. Make sure you check the tides before going so you can go out when the tide is out. During high tide you can't get out very far and there's not much to see. Generally, there will be a Ranger there to answer any questions you may have. Fun place for the kids.

“Nature at its best”

This is a nice place to bring kids to when when the weather is nice and their is not to much wind. They will have a fun time exploring and looking for sea life in the tide pools.

“Better weather would have helpded”
Reviewed April 12, 2013

We enjoyed our visit to the tide pools, but it was a bit cold and rainy. It was still a lot of fun and very interesting to wander around and check everything out. We would have loved to spend more time in the area, but weren't able to. We look forward to going back when it is low tide and enjoying it even more.
