The pool was not heated and the property just seemed tired and not kept up real nice. The carpet in my room was so dirty that after walking on it my feet were dirty. On the plus side, the staff at the front desk were all very nice and friendly and as helpful as they could be.More
I stayed at this Howard Johnson location twice. The first time was only one night. I had to be out of the area the following night. But came back here for another three nights after that. I stayed on the 2nd floor the first time, then the 1st floor another time.
They recently renovated this hotel, so everything was updated and modern. The decor is nice, the bed was comfortable, the tv was flat screen, the wi-fi was fast and free, a refrigerator is available in each room with a decent size freezer. I was able to stock up on frozen food from the grocery store and all of it fit in the freezer. There is also a Microwave.
The location was near everything I needed. They also do a courtesy reminder one hour before the check out time on the day you are leaving. The only thing I had a slight problem with was using card-reader in the door, I had to swipe it a few times, but that was probably something I was doing wrong.
During my stay I met three different people at the front desk and they were all very helpful and polite. If I am in the area again for vacation I will be sure to stay here again. Will also be recommending this Howard Johnson to others!

I had a great experience during my stay. Rooms were clean and TV was good. Pool available and plenty of room to part. Archita, who was the staff in charge during my checkout was very helpful and friendly.
