We didn't plan to go to San Diego during Comic Con, but that was the weekend we went. Hotels were impossible to find but Hotel Indigo had rooms available because they were newly opened.

Great value, cute boutique hotel. Nice bathrooms (showers only, tho) and really comfy beds. Big rooms with great views of the ballpark. Would definitely stay here again.

My fiance and I just spent the weekend at the Hotel Indigo. The service (Adriana and David at the Phi Bar on the Terrace and James at Valet were phenomenal), decor, ambiance and every aspect of this hotel was perfect. The hotel was entirely sold out this weekend due to Comic Con, however (quite amazingly), it remained intimate. We never had to wait in line, there were great people to socialize with when desired, but we had complete privacy as well. It was a very romantic place to stay. BONUS for sports fans (and the people that love them) - you can watch the Padres play from the Terrace Bar on the 9th floor (you can see home plate), while having outstanding drinks and fun snacks. We are already planning our next trip!

My job is 100% travel and I have to say I couldn't find anything wrong. The staff was fantastic...although the hotel was new they front desk was eager to please. I had a maintenance request and they got on it right away. Loved the Phi Bistro. Excellent food and great atmosphere. They 9th floor terrace was beautiful - fire pits were such a nice touch on the chilly evenings. Loved my room - QUIET! It was perfect. I don't travel with pets by I know some of my friends do...it's completely pet friendly - no charge at all.

This hotel had just opened at the time of our stay. The guest rooms are beautiful and the bathroom large with an oversize shower. We had a fabulous view into Petco Park and the fireworks. But when you pull the drapes, they block out all of the outside light and there were no noise issues whatsoever. The terrace bar is a treat and the main lobby bar has a beautiful breeze blowing through day and night. The location is great - just four blocks to Fifth Avenue restaurants and bars as well as walking distance to the convention center. All of the technology amenities a business traveler seeks as well. We'll be back.

We got lucky and was overbooked at the Se San Diego so they sent us to Hotel Indigo. We loved it! From the valets to the desk staff, everyone was genuinely pleasant and friendly. We had expected the valet charge of $32 which was fine. Especially since we there when the Padres were playing plus there was a big street party down the street so the parking was pretty pricey everywhere. The internet was free which was nice. This is also a green hotel which is important to me. The room were in was on the ninth floor right next to the elevators and the bar. But our room was very quiet and comfortable. Loved the hardwood floors, big comfy bed, flat screen tv and attractive large bathroom. My husband loved the roomy glass shower that had a bamboo stool in it that you could just sit down and let the hot water from the shower relax you. There is a meditation room just outside of the fitness room that is relaxing although not very quiet as this is in downtown San Diego. The fitness room was well equipped. The outside bar on the ninth floor has a wonderful view of Petco park which is just over the next block. It was nice to have a drink outside and watch the game from afar while sitting next to a gas fire. The only setback is that this hotel does not have a swimming pool but they do have what they call a "reflection pool" in the bar area. You can't swim it but you can sit next to it and run your fingers in the cool water and reflect I guess. We really enjoyed our one night stay at Hotel Indigo on their 6th day of business! Special thanks to Kimberley and Darren at the front desk. They were very pleasant and helpful as were all the staff we encountered during our stay.
