My family had a wonderful stay here! The space, the 2 bedrooms, the kitchen, the washer/dryer...awesome! After staying here for a week, there is no way we will ever stay at a hotel again. This is the way to vacation!
Stayed in apartment 412 which was a corner unit with a fabulous view of downtown San Diego-floor to ceiling whole wall windows and small balcony. Beds are super comfortable, instructions and access was very convenient. Apartment is very very spacious with everything you might need, very hip but functional decor. Over all we and our young adult sons loved this apartment above two great eateries-brew house and breakfast place. Both excellent! Only thing to note is there is no parking but we were able to navigate street parking with no issues, even with the Rock and Roll Marathon a few blocks away. Parking lot alternatives at every corner. Not a huge hurdle but was something one needs to be willing to navigate. We would defintlely try to get this unit if we return to San Diego.
Let me start by saying that the amenities and the location of the apartment were good. Everything that was promised in the way of furnishings was there and we were steps to 5th Avenue and lots of great nightlife. It was actually just what we were looking for since we were there for an event.
The negative is that the building is cheaply constructed and you can hear every step of the person above you. One of the neighbors taped a note on our door saying that they are permanent renters and we should be quiet or the police would be called and that they have done so in the past. I left the note in the room so it could be found but I seriously think there's a disconnect between the concepts operating within the management. The people who live there clearly resent the vacation renters and they may be justified. We weren't a loud group but we did hear others who were.
