Can't beat the location to get the California Beach "feel" & with complimentary shuttle to the Gaslamp district - you/re set! -The views at Sunset were the best! - I'll definitely be back. Real close to SeaWorld and all the other family activities. It would be nice to have a complimentary shuttle to the airport - though. The van service is $20 pp - little steep.

We had to be moved from our first room because the TV/cable didn't work. Then we were moved to "nicer" room, 244 i believe, which turned out to be an ocean view but a handicap accessible room. The shower head was completely inoperable and kept falling to the floor. One of us had to hold the shower head while the other showered. it was really bad. We didn't report it because it was late at night and we were too tired to move again. Also, we had invited friends to come watch football in the bar and eat Pizza but there was no pizza being offered that day. Normally not a problem except the wonderful hotel staff kept expressing how good your pizza is:) It was a good thing the bar staff was so very nice..

Room Tip: Beautiful property but make sure everything works in your room before you unpack

Nice Hotel but the service level was not at the expected level... Parking is far to expensive too when street parking is free... Service at the restaurant was really the worst, great peoples still. We stayed there 3 days and every time it was different.

I attended a conference at this hotel. The room had a stink about it and no natural light. It s in the middle of nowhere and they charge 34 per day parking. What a rip off. I am a silver Hilton club member and this has turned me off Hilton.

It located at Mission Bay right on the water. Wake up with the quacking of the ducks, and watching the early birds walking, jogging, roller blading, or biking right in front the porch. Changed and ran in the chilly fresh little salty air, and sweat a little and felt great. Strolling into the on site Resturant Aqua, and had Crab Omelet for Breakfast. Did not leave anything on the plate. That is how good it was .
The manager on duty was EP, and she was nice and professional and dedicated. Checking in by nice gentleman Nick. It was a perfect business trip.

The Hilton of yesteryear is gone and in it's place a delightful modern accommodating resort. They have upped the bar and it shows in all aspects of the property. The friendliest and most helpful staff I have encountered in many years of traveling, so refreshing!!

I wanted to comment about my recent stay at the Hilton Resort and Spa on Mission Bay in San Diego. The staff was amazing!!!! From the front desk, to the restaurant staff to the Shuttle bus drivers to housekeeping. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.

The Room: they were very modern and spacious with a lot of natural lighting, I have a patio with a fire pit that walked out to the beach. There was a sitting room with a wet bar and from my room there was a view of Sea World

The Spa: I received the best pedicure ever!!!! Miss Denise was so friendly and made you feel really comfortable.

The Pool: is so nicely done with a rock theme, they showed movie at night in the pool area and the pool was heated.

This is a great place to stay it's just 15 minutes from downtown and the airport. Taxi ride is about $23.00 one way.
